| Patterns and colors
Ragdolls come in many different colors and patterns. Some of the most common patterns are mitteds, points and bi-colors. Seals and blues are the more common colors.
Our family pet, Blue, is a seal bi-color, and so was "Whitey". This is denoted by the inverted white "V" on their face and the "mask" around their eyes.
Dixie, Stella and Lily are all mitteds. This means they have four white feet and a white chin. Dixie is a seal mitted and Stella and Lily are blue mitteds.
Pointed means that all of the points of the cat, ears, nose, feet and tail, should be their designated color
A Ragdoll of a different color is our wonderful Sire, Rex. Rex is a flame point. He is a cream color with a hint of orange to him. Rex produces an unusual array of colors and patterns in his litters. Torties and lynx markings come from Rex's unusual genes. These are very desirable markings and sometimes hard to find.
If you have any questions about markings and patterns, please call or email us and we'll be happy to try sort it all out for you!
